Dan Michiels is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of North Carolina with almost two decades of experience in both public and private accounting.
After working several years at an international corporation, Dan transitioned into a role as client manager at a public accounting firm where he was responsible for overseeing every aspect of accounting, from bookkeeping and payroll to tax preparation, planning and compliance for clients across the country.
He currently serves as treasurer for a national 501(c)(3) organization and works closely with a wide range of clients spanning from individuals and startups to businesses operating throughout the United States and abroad.

Nicole Michiels is a licensed Enrolled Agent with the IRS and currently serves as a Client Manager at D. Michiels CPA, where she has been a dedicated member of the team for the past six years.

A graduate of Dowling College, Nicole combines a solid academic background with extensive experience in bookkeeping, payroll, and tax compliance. She works closely with a diverse range of clients, managing their financial records with accuracy and providing tailored support to help them meet their goals.

Nicole is known for her sharp attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a warm, client-focused approach that builds lasting relationships. As a proud mom of four, she brings compassion, patience, and strong multitasking abilities to everything she does.

Melissa Interrante is an IRS Enrolled Agent and Client Manager at D. Michiels CPA, where she has been a valued team member for the past four years. With a focus on sales and use tax filings, bookkeeping, and personalized client support, Melissa plays a key role in helping businesses stay compliant and financially organized.
